Tuukka Lehtonen
Second Violin
Tuukka Lehtonen graduated in 1996 from the Central Finland Conservatory in Jyväskylä as a violin teacher under the guidance of Anatoli Melnikov.
His passion for the violin sparked at a young age—during a concert by folk musician Konsta Jylhä, Tuukka was already enthusiastically sawing the air with his arm.
Tuukka has played with the Mikkeli City Orchestra throughout his professional career, starting in autumn 1998 first as a substitute and later as a permanent member in the second violin section.
He is often seen as a vocal soloist with the orchestra and is also an active arranger and orchestrator.
In his free time, Tuukka enjoys building loudspeakers and playing frisbee golf.
