Lauri Lehto

Principal First Violin

Lauri Lehto began playing the violin at the age of seven at the Hyvinkää Music Institute. After finishing high school, his passion for music led him to further studies in Lahti, first at the Päijät-Häme Conservatory and later at the Lahti University of Applied Sciences.

After completing his studies, Lauri worked as a freelance musician across Finland until he joined the Mikkeli City Orchestra as Principal First Violin in autumn 2008.

His interest in technology eventually led him to pursue studies in information and communication technology at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences starting in autumn 2016, alongside his musical career.
